Following are the dates and deadlines for future CPS and CAP exam administrations:
Exam Dates: November 4 & 5, 2011 Registration Deadline: August 15, 2011
The CAP exams are administered on the first Saturday every May and November.
Effective November 2011 the Certified Professional Secretary (CPS) certification will become Certified Administrative Professional (CAP) and the current CAP will become OM (Organizational Management).
The 3 Part CPS exam will become a 1 Part CAP exam. The current Part V CAP exam will become a 1 Part Organizational Management (OM) exam.
For those of you currently holding the CPS and/or CAP certifications:
CPS will change to CAP
CPS/CAP will change to CAP-OM
CAP will change to CAP-OM
