Attention Managers and Supervisors
How recognition effects the bottom line.
Results from the survey of administrative professionals are clear: Support staff place a high priority on a company’s employee recognition efforts.
Membership to a professional association and registration for a conference or seminar rated at the top as number 3 and 4. These two items placed higher than, paid time off, handwritten personal thank-you, cash, recognition at staff meeting/in company newsletter, award nomination, and recognition on Administrative Professionals Day® with gift cards, e-mailed personal thank you or lunch. In the top two places were an in-person thank you and a promotion.
So... forget the flowers and chocolates, get registered for the Annual APD Conference.
